Repairs
Cracks: Cracks are the curse of every asphalt tennis court. As asphalt ages, it becomes brittle and begins to crack. Moisture enters the cracks, expanding as it freezes resulting in widening the crack, or worse, eroding the sub-base. Repaired cracks often reappear within one year. The Guardian Crack Repair System can, in many instances, extend the life of a crack repair.
Ponding Water: Next to cracks, ponding water is the most aggravating condition to tennis court owners and operators. In addition to delaying the drying time for courts, ponding water stains the court, allows excess water to seep into any cracks, and accelerates the deterioration of the coating.
